Learning to recognize in RT. How do you watch so many markets? I can barely understand one...
Not sure if you were addressing this to me.
I only watch one market NQ. (Well, I watch ES & YM for occasional confirmation but don't trade 'em)

Unfortunately my experience is often it takes a couple losses before one realizes they're in chop. Remember I'm still learning myself. I'm hoping to get better recognizing chop earlier too.

Just cycle through them, is it trending, no onto the next and do this, when I find 1 which is trending I stick with it until it isn't, then start searching for trend again.
If my SMA's are flat and price is moving to either side like it's not there, then that's chop, if they've got a direction and price stalls at them and reverses to continue with the trend, then that's trend like in my earlier chart pic.
There are other trends, I'm just not interested in them LOL I give up on mastering the markets completely, find 1 thing and repeat till a billionaire

11/3/2014 Review. I probably shouldn't take intra-bar pullbacks.
IMHO, pullbacks were all there. I got em. YAY. However. I did not do well at all with considering Current PA in relation to the signals. I haven't yet developed the skill to put these signals in proper PA context. Something to work on--the pullback, within current PA context.
