With the Clinton, what she did was wrong not illegal. It doesn’t take a genius to understand she wasn’t guilty of committing espionage. And that was the basis of the investigation. It was always flimsy.

She did not commit espionage but she did violate the Espionage Act which has provisions in it that criminalize certain acts that facilitate or could facilitate espionage- ie. removing government records from their normal case of safekeeping in a grossly negligent manner.

Comey even wrote several versions of his summary of findings and conclusions where he referred to her acts as "gross negligence." Those words were of course changed by people who were working on an insurance policy.

Of course, Comey was running a highly "efficient and streamlined" investigation. He concluded that she did nothing illegal before even interviewing her or the witnesses.

Also they conveniently did not look at any the pay to play/Clinton foundation allegations. You think if Mueller were investigating Trump and had those types of allegations that he would not have gone there? He would have an indictment on Chelsea and go from there. FBI= FIX IS IN when it came to Hillary.

Putting aside all of her pay to play/foundation crimes, and just staying with the email case, she did commit a serious criminal act though that would get you a serious conviction if your name were not Clinton.

She received an order from the House Committee to preserve her emails, and within ten days she deleted all of them and then bleachbitted them saying that it is was an accident and misunderstanding on the part of the IT guy. Not something you would ever get away with unless your last name is Clinton. Not a trick anyone here should try if there are ever in that situation.

As an important aside, some of the recently uncovered emails show communication between the IT guy/Brian Taglio or like that, and hillarys entourage Cheryl Mills, Jennifer Palmeri, Huma etc during that ten day period in regard to the emails and the house order to preserve. Comey and McCabe gave Taglio immunity but then he lied and said he had no contact with anyone about the emails during that period. A "new" FBI needs to back to court and have that immunity deal busted because he lied after accepting it and telling the truth was a condition of getting it. Then they need to prosecute his sorry arse. Just insane the way those emails were deleted and no one paid a price and then he lied about it and has not paid a price yet.

Also, those emails are still there to found somewhere by someone serious. That would not be any of Comey's people.

There were I think 7 classified level emails out of thousands. Classified is the lowest level of secret, this included newspaper articles. That’s not reckless. There was no jeopardy from her behavior to national security.

No. There was a limited number of emails "marked classified" but she is required by law to have training and knowledge of what material should be classified just by its nature and to treat it as such. She had thousands of emails that involved diplomatic communications and communications with senior leaders and officials in other natures. All of those- just as examples- are classified by their very nature and must be treated as such.

Also there are at least 35,000 emails missing so you don't know what was in them. We know you believe Hillary when she says that they were all about her yoga lessons, Chelsea's wedding, and her mother's funeral but most likely that was not the case.

This is just Hillary 101. The court ordered her to produce her records from Whitewater/Rose Law Firm. Then suddenly they could not be found. Years later after the case had been closed, all those records were found in a closet at the White House. Hillary says she does not know how they went missing from the Rose Law Firm, and she does not know how they re-appeared at the White House. THAT'S YOUR GIRL!!!!!

You and I have been through this and I won’t replay all of the details from 2 years ago. What is important for the viewers to understand is the application of the law. A good example of this is not every killing is a murder. The law is applied based on the facts of the case. In this case we are talking about insignificant material without any intent, which is careless. Not right but not illegal.

There is a brand new director of the fbi who is most likely taking a new look at all of this, and a new attorney general as well. We will see if they come to a different conclusion.

Yes. I agree if criminal acts are committed and the law is never applied it never becomes a crime. If you kill someone and are never prosecuted then you are not a criminal under the law.

Thank you clarifying Hillary's status. We sort of know that. That has been the problem.

The Clinton case often gets compared to the sailor that took detailed, specific pictures of a top secret nuclear sub engine. Now consider the difference in material and potential impact on security.

Whatever, then it was only a small number that were marked as classified or something like that. Like I said I am not going back through this from two years ago.

What is important is republicans are in control of the DOJ and fbi, they can review and charge as they see appropriate. And we know they are reviewing. As it stands, Clinton did nothing illegal and no one has been charged.

Before you get too persnickety, be sure that you understand that there were two bundles. One directly from the dnc or dnc pass through money to the state and then down, and another from a Dem PAC run by Terry McLaughliff/sp. The media varies in the amount reported depending on whether they are just reporting the dnc money, or the dem pac money, or both. Its up there though- 700k plus.

This is normal and legal funding of a political campaign. If you are not happy with it, you should help elect politicians that will back a Constitutional amendment that can close down unlimited contributions via PACs.

The innuendo is that since McCabes wife who is was a minor State politician running for elected office, she was defeated, that McCabe must somehow be tainted in his oversight role (however limited that may be) of the Mueller investigation. There is not even prima facie evidence, rather the innuendo is prima facie absurd. Come back when there is some evidence beyond innuendo.
