You do realize this bulk cell phone data is readily available on the market and used in many population related behavioral studies.

I'm not trying to claim anything. I came to the "fact check" thread to confirm the CDC did - in fact - get cellphone and location data on millions, as you are the all-knowing, all seeing one on the forum for all things COVID, right?

I noted that you avoided a direct answer (again). Did the CDC get the data legally?

As outlined in multiple articles -- the CDC purchased the data from a company which sells the information. All of this is completely legal. You can go purchase the exact same data if you so desire.
