Ewj: elliott wave

The 1-2-3 could be count as a-b-c.
The wave five failure should have five subwaves, there is not enough data to make a decision :( .
If wave a had five subwaves, wave b may be incomplete.
If wave a had three subwaves, and wave c = wave a, wave a-b-c may be to long.
So wave b may be incomplete :) .

Hi Mu, Thanks a lot for answering both of my posts.

On the Euro daily chart, you said: If wave a had five subwaves, wave b may be incomplete.

Could you tell me what "wave b may be incomplete" means, when you have a chance?

Thanks.

Eddie

blnbr,
Sorry, this is wrong:
If wave a had five subwaves, wave b may be incomplete.
If wave a had three subwaves, and wave c = wave a, wave a-b-c may be to long.
Shoud be:
If wave a had three subwaves, wave b may be incomplete.
If wave a had five subwaves, and wave c = wave a, wave a-b-c may be to long.
My reasoning: which is not always right :D .
If Wave a had three subwaves the correction should be an irregular, a flat or a triangular correction which need a bigger wave b.
If Wave a had five subwaves the correction should be a zigzag. If wave c= wave a then wave a-b-c would be more than .618 of wave 1-2-3-4-5.

The Market is slower as expected :) .
There may a measured move UP or DOWN from here :D .

The Market retreated, after surging 21% in 2 1/2 weeks, by a 1/2 weeks complex correction because it needed some delay to fulfil the two-months requirement .
From now on the UPWARD pace may be slower .
Expect another big MM, 21%, in 2 1/2 weeks ,
another 1/2 weeks complex correction ,
and another big MM, 21% in another 2 1/2 weeks .

Thanks Mu. Will look at the chart with that.

The news confirmed Landis' remark  .

Stay nimble folks! :)

The Close = 890.35 proved Landis' "61.8% comes thru around 890 SPX" correct  .
The Close above 50sma = 888.75 would be nice for elovemer :) .
The "W" pattern was in fact an a-b-c which may be part of a complete ED. Note the measured move. .
May be time to cover the SHORT :D .
Where is Mup  .

Coming up on the 50% retracement of 857 - 844 around the 900-901 area.
61.8% comes thru around 890 SPX

....would be nice if spy closed above 50sma today

Fractal wave patterns and "W" pattern point to a measured move UP :) .
If the "W" pattern is an a-b-c, there may be a big measured move DOWN as Landis said :D .
