Evolution Just Got Harder to Defend

the article made a great point via the new york times indicating that since life was pushed back another few hundred million years it is even more unlikely that life evolved from non life by chance.

Now... if stu or you is stating life did not evolve from non life... let us know and the OP could consider changing the name of the thread.

Doesn't this intelligent design business, or indeed the entire god hypothesis, pose a certain kind of chicken or egg question. Whereas life from non-life eliminates that "issue". Score one for life from non-life.
 
1. piezoe I know if you were to think about when time began. (after the big bang)
(and then watched some star trek so you could learn about time paradoxes and cause and effect... .)

you could figure out there may be no chicken or the egg question because God or the creator is by definition outside of time.

2. life from non life is not really the issue... its whether it was from random chance. After reading a ton of writings from scientists in the field I think the "drive for life" being programmed into the building blocks so that they could evolve into life is probably the most solid scientific hypothesis.
