You have surprised me. You are beginning to understand somewhat. However the 'programming' does not come from a designer or a "God'. It is a consequence of the nature of matter, and therefore what can occur is highly constrained. And it is constrained in a way that favors formation or organisms and viruses. For example organisms very similar to what exist on Earth will be found in many other solar systems, and all these organisms will be based on carbon and not some other element. The reasons for this are understood in detail by some scientists.
To read the arguments in favor of all organisms being based on carbon see this paper: Why life exists. Michael J. S. Dewar , Eamonn Healy. Organometallics , 1982, 1 (12), pp 1705–1708. DOI: 10.1021/om00072a029 (You can view the first page on the internet, or get it for free at any major University library. But it is a technical paper that unless you are a Ph.D. chemist or physicist you will have difficulty grasping the computations and understanding the arguments behind it's assertion that carbon is the element essential to all organisms.)
