When Kasparov faced up against Big Blue he was facing "a 2,800 pound IBM RS/6000 SP supercomputer rigged with more than 500 microprocessors capable of analyzing about 200 million chess positions every second." Kasparov dang near beat this thing.
Now how did that kind of incredible computing power occur in just a few million years? And, again, why? Why competitive advantage does a human being get from being super-intelligent? Not much really.
Or could it be that he needed to be super-intelligent to understand the things of God?
