if you are attempting to argument the satellite data vs the thermometer records you should know the IPCC said there is good agreement between the data sets.
in short you are making shit up and hoping it sticks... but it has already been checked and you fail just like the models.

But you do realize that your charts are deceptive, basically a lie. Balloon and satellite data is not worldwide surface air temps. You are comparing them to models of worldwide surface temps

To get more government grants to support their "research". As noted, Climate Change is a 1.5 Trillion per year industry.
It doesn't work that way. Scientists get paid no matter what they do. And any scientist disproving global warming would be famous.

Obviously you don't know how government grants work for scientific research. If your results do not back the predetermined opinion the you will never get a grant in the future.

For the purpose of checking on the models there is no difference. the models predicted big warming. the warming did not happen.
now your team is saying... the warming did not happen over land but it did happen in the oceans so now they want to compare apples to oranges.
