Actually I see astonishing similarities between 1920's - 1940's Germany in the US. The difference is, we are closer to a mild version of 1920 than 1932.
It's easy to start thinking we're living "in end times" if you confine your reading to certain websites that continue reinforcing that belief (not that you do). That's what the internet is doing, imho, it's making us "beliefs silos". So some of us may have emotions mimicking German emotions in those interwar years. But we certainly do not have the same fundamentals. We do not have a legitimate claim to feeling humiliated by a major war loss. We are not chafing under brutal foreign trade restrictions. We are not massively in debt to foreigners in their currency. We are not hamstrung by a gold standard. We have not been disarmed. We do not have hundreds of thousands of people in food lines. It's hysteria to think we are actually anywhere near those conditions.
