Well, thank you, but Optional and I agree on a couple of political positions, so "anti-Ricter" would not be fair, though I believe you're speaking to style. But for those issues that we don't agree on, I don't even try to argue with him anymore. As I said elsewhere, when it comes to arguing, Optional is a force of nature. You will NOT get the last word, or an acknowledgement that he could be in error, EVER. Like a force of nature, you simply have to accept that.

Edit: I'd also like to publically and "officially" reserve my right, here and now, to be uncivil and impolite on occasion, when alcohol and/or attitude compel. Everyone else gets that! (The beauty of P&R.)

Oh, I know he'll never admit he's wrong on anything. That's the key difference between someone who is genuinely interested in debating, and someone who is just trolling for reactions.

I revealed no personal information on anyone - unless they first said so themselves (to confirm).

I look at IP addresses all the time. Just two minutes ago, I confirmed that the same spammer (from the Philippines, who has been spamming here day after day) was again logging on to spam the stocks forum. Once confirmed, I was able to act on his posts. Looking at IPs and their locations is part of my job, and there is no stipulation on when I am allowed to look at them. Don't like it?

In your case, I think 99% of the site would cheer.
