Looks like a trend channel drying to be broken on the upside. Of course, we gots the earnings coming up starting tomorrow, and everyone is poopoo on them. *shrugs*

The market goes down when there is more selling pressure than buying pressure, for whatever "reason". The media spins it. Direction and force beyond it, not why, is all that matters.

Looks like it's happening NOW. Futures down big this AM...likely because China's market was down nearly 2% today.

it's non-correlated market, overnight vs regular. This chart shows big interval = overnight, small interval = regular, as you can see their movements are diff. I think the overnight market is now big enough to move by itself.

Totally agree.....albeit volume is still on the light side.
Despite that.....I've noticed some impressive moves in the post RTH E-Mini market. I think it really moves with HangSeng futures and the Shanghai live index....and then finally DAX Futures and that live market.
