Quote from pocketmoney:

Seems impossible NOT to make money longing the ES! I guess there's the 1 in a million chance of buying it as a terror attack on the US takes place, but other than that.....
I would say im amazed at your constant success, but I used to visit here in the old days when the ES was down at 920 or something, and a trader called 'lexcorp' was calling for '1000+ very soon' whilst the whole 'ESjournal' thought he was crazy. He bought everyday and we hit his target. He remained bullish after that and minted money everyday as the index soared to 1080+ and eventually left the forum (i think), I assume out of lonliness!
Its a crazy instrument.
I suppose its true that there are things in place to ensure that it goes up over time, as you say. A definite bullish bias.
Good trading

Hey there Pocket, probably find Lexcorp floating around the islands. Certainly stood out in the crowd for a while...

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks climbed broadly Friday, putting the market on pace for its fourth-straight weekly gain as investors were encouraged by readings on housing and capital spending by businesses that pointed toward a stabilizing economy.

I think I saw that exact same quote about 6 times from April - October 2009.

LOL ! Good joke. This rally is simply a vola play of some desks aware of the general short bias in the last couple of days. Sort of short covering rally initiated by the usual vola and momo "suspects".

There is absolutely NO reason to buy stocks now at these levels.

Double dip recession ? No. Slow growth? Yes.

Short at 41.75, but not trusting a 4-6 potential stop run.
