Specially because the 2nd gap rule guaranteed that anything shorted between 1101-06 will be a winner at least down to 1101... :)

yesterdays low is way down there, nice call though. Pivot touched.

Hello AP,

Do you think that successful trading requires a paradigm shift in the way in which people think.

For example, People are educated and influenced throughout their lives to think in shades of grey and this is very evident when reading the posts here.

And yet trading is black and white.
I mean how more clear cut can this be ...

"Trade - No Trade"
"Buy- Sell"
"No of ticks Stop"
"Cover - Continue"

Perhaps this is a subject that everyone agrees with and only a few practice.
If this is the case, then it must mean that most People view "black and white" through shades of grey

Goldman throws perfect game, firm records trading profit every single day of the quarter; first time ever.

Would you bet against the Gorilla in the room?

goldman swirling the drain plus gulf oil spill, when is the next GDP estimate due?

They capitalize on our fear and greed. They can because we don't have the Goldman Sach or JP Morgan sized account. When you try to trade like Goldman without the Goldman $dollars$, you are bound to be beaten via fear and greed. They know it and they use it to their advantage.

And there is absolutely nothing criminal about it. It's like going to the casino and playing the slots and running out of money and then the next person walks over pulls the lever and hits the jackpot. What are you going to do, complain it was unfair because if only you had more money to pull the lever one more time you would have won?

you appear to suggest that guessing where the end is should come after two certain bars.

to each their own :)

I'm not guessing Austin. Back test it for the QM/CL and then we can share back-tests openly in this forum.

Yeah for this trade it isn't a guess. Certain stocks and contracts have little signature set ups that have nothing to do with candles or technical analysis "directly", meaning it isn't taught. I have a library full of these and when they appear I take advantage of them.

So if anybody wants to watch this specific set-up on the QM/CL continuous contract you will see that it is a money maker and not guess work.

Honestly, I appreciate your trading knowledge and what you do everyday is a good thing (teaching). In my opinion you seem really smart and probably could charge 5x's what you do because I know certain "educators" do. So kudos for making it affordable.
