What determines the gap on the open at a particular price. Why did it open at 1125.25 instead of 1108.00 or 1115.00 or 1130 or 1090 for that matter?

just shorted some contracts at 1129

I'm net long in my account and can't pass up a 2% gain before market open. Hedged in here at this level, we'll see what happens. I'd be pretty damn surprised to see the market open up 3% or something wacked.

maybe im an r-tard but what are you suggesting with this chart

Schiz drew a nice trend line there to explain the gap, but once you add these additional lines based on the price action you can see that there is really no clear direction to the market at this point.

Lol f'ing hilarious.

personally i think we are dealing with a "Horse's ass breakout" rather than a "Horses Ass Dump Down"

awesome chart art, though.

So i guess the point of Schiz's chart was that the gap was just enough to break the down trend. Hence we break out to much higher levels?
