Don't kill me if I'm wrong, but this noob thinks 47.75 is the HOD for Monday's session, which we just hit. From here, we could fall as low as 30.

However, I expect we go higher on Tuesday.
 
Where is possible kill you schizo? This was not good call.

Btw, they need target stops above 1160 and create giant gap that will be obvious target for later so there will be not attempt test the bottom of dip.

of much more interest to all... what is your current ES open position? I'm short 1157.50 and pretty much going to hammer every sell signal in this +50pt gap-up preopen pending

is that how you see it, or will you trade your several to a dozen or more round turns today both ways this morning?

Gaps of this magnitude (well, not even nearly of THIS magnitude) are rarely closed on the same day ... or, for that matter, in the same week.

In which case, if the market is signaling a change in short-term direction, why fight it?

I expect a repeat of Friday: wide, volatile swings both ways today. Especially so this afternoon. We don't see a change of direction yet... we're seeing knee-jerk overnight emotions to the initial news. As the day wears on and volume comes in from all directions, then we'll see how it flows. In other words, trading nirvana is here at last :)
