Lots of clues in the NQ price action that AAPL was going to be decent/good.

Must be nice to know before hand.

They need to sell into liquidity those dirty SOB's.

I thought that MM and PB could buy at the bid and sell at the ask, so they don't pay the spread when trading their own money.

But when they are buying for a customer say a pension fund, and then they don't care about the spread, because it is not their money, then they buy at the ask and sell at the bid like us small fry retail investors.

That's the good old days where MMs were mostly human.

The MM bots nowadays have one and only one purpose - to be profitable every single day.

Very obvious when NQ played "catch up" to fill both gaps within 30-mins ... someone know something and have to induce sell orders to load up the boat.

Sometimes they win, sometimes they don't.

As long as I do not become roadkill in the process I will be able to have fun the next day. =)

I know I saw it posted somewhere in this journal from a few different people, but I can't find it.

What do you use for pertinent info for the trading day such as earnings reports, fed announcements, etc. I just got burned (NQ) due to my own ignorance of the Apple earnings coming out.

If you use trends wisely and enter intelligently you don't need to worry about these pesky little details.

Buying is allowing the trader to make money without effort with this furious trend. Short and not only does your risk increases but your rewards are limited from the start.

It's senseless to fade this bull for the time being.

Every retrace is a buying opportunity, if you get the wrong higher low, add to it, then shoot for new highs. Rinse and repeat until the process is no longer works. It can be that simple. Don't worry about the end of the trend, no one knows how high this can go, it will stop going up when it wants to stop going up, as this is unknown.
