There are classic price patterns that are very reliable as they captured the essence of price discovery process.

1. wyckoff upthrust and spring

2. double top/bottom when the 2nd extreme is formed by 2 approx. equal legs trying to reach that extreme

Sometimes, at the end of #2 while it is forming, #1 will happen at that spike extreme too.

I did not invent these formations, they've been there since 1930s.
