did you mean that you will be watching 1357-1360? (not 1557-1560)
is 1557-1560 a target?

My bad, I always do that since I'm usually only thinking in terms of the last 2 digits... 1357-1360 as you can see in the chart I posted (chart is SPX and I'm using 5 point premium to get ES numbers)... target definitely isn't 1557-1560 since I'm a longer-timeframe bear haha

tonights AH trade will be on the ES

offering 1384 3.5 stop

6 pts for 1st target. Stop moves to Breakeven and trails

canceling trade...

still short the euro but man.. is it ever taking its time... I have covered half for +13 because I dont want to be to exposed when somebody seems to be holding it up. I always listen and follow the motto.. "if they cant take it down they will take it up"

Would like to ride these last 15 to new lows but I am placing a tight stop..

It doesn't but I trade so that when it does, I am in. In the meantime, I pick up other gains which are larger than the losses that I incur. Last years net gain on the trading account only was 92 percent. This means that my total gain on TLNW was less than that of course.
:)

You achieved 92% gain for the year and seem to imply that wasn’t really that good. Interesting notion from my experience. One more question concerning never risking more than 2% on any trade. As you stated you went short at 1417 with a stop of 1517. That means if you have an account of $250,000 for example, you could only trade 1 futures contract of the ES. If you were to lose 100 points on 1 contract that would represent a loss of $5000 or 2%. Do I understand that is how you trade and can turn that into a 92% gain for the year?

Why don't you trade the HSI afterhours? If you want a market that doesn't %$&% around when it wants to go somewhere, you have to go across the Pacific.

its about f'n time... taking some off the table on the euro.

I have been trading the HSI on and off for awhile but still waiting to do the research on a more reliable feed. I also need to keep things in balance.. trading can take over everything, there always seems to be a market open somewhere...

what was the maxdd for the trading account?

was able to make a nice profit on the euro trade despite the movement... last unit is resting at BE just a couple ticks above the market so most likely going to get taken out.

Hitting the sack and placing a sell limit on the ES at 1389

2 pt stop

8pt target

very, very small size due to AH

good R:R and in the 55% odds area.
