Quote from mbusch:

I am short here from 1568.00 with a very close stop. Countertend scalp trade, not expecting any homeruns here, just trying to pick up some pocket money while waiting for a good place to enter long.
Out at 1565.25 for +2.75. My stop was 3 ticks on this trade. Presently on the sidelines watching to see whether we head up from here or fill the overnight gap first. (We're at that critical halfway-to-gap-fill point now where things could go either way.)

This is basically it Allen. I believe stop, whether mental or hard, should be chart based and not an abitrary 2 points. I believe it should then be related to your total liquid net worth and adjusted so that you are not risking more than 2 percent of TLNW. ---These are my beliefs, I am advising no one---

Thanks Tommy/B1S2. I appreciate what you are intending to say getting cleared up. Don't worry B1S2 not taking what you are saying to the bank, just trying to view and study what you say you're doing accurately. Thanks again.

Now long from 1565.25 with close stop. This is the position I'd love to be able to hold into the close, but we'll see what happens. Still haven't ruled out a fill-the-gap pullback (in which case my long will stop out for a small loss).

I was long from 65 but out now - has not hit all my parameters so expected some more downside before i get long again for higher probability long.

Guess it will blast of now that im out lol :D

If it makes you feel any better, I've closed my long with a 2-tick loss. Too early. Now flat.

EDIT: I'd love to see a pullback here to 1563, as it would put us right on my 15-minute upward trendline and be a nice low-risk long entry. No guarantees that will happen, of course, but it would be nice.

Negative divergence was there and already ran it's course (correction/retracement).

I did get out , but did not go short. Going short would have made me money, but my better option would be to go to the sidelines and get long again elsewhere.

thanks, but you haven't answered the IF part

Well i would rather we both got some nice gains with the longs - now parameters have been hit so higher probability long for my system anyway. Tight stop in place and exit if things change.

Out 1 here at 67.50, holding other 2 for new HOD.
