Yeah, the indices and internals are shaping up (kinda), and the NQ is trying to lead'em back above water.

We were lamenting the (most recent) demise of VN over the weekend (well, I was at least).

If he had used your basic system and position sized using the mini's, he'd still be singing a happy tune, as it is, he can't play ball anymore. :(

Now, if anyone is going to come on here and tell me the pros don't use the mini's I'd say they're dead wrong. A substantial number of professional traders transitioned over to them years ago, due to liquidity, ease of transaction and ability to create mutliple simple/complex trading strategies using them.

Yes, it isn't us retail schlubs who are buying 400, 500, and 1000 contracts at a pop. :-)

Most longer term professional traders position themselves at the close. We are in an uptrend and they will be looking to buy pullbacks.
 
3 min IHS on the three amigos.....usually a reliable indication of a pop.........into the close & into tomorrow is what i expect.

if they want to shake out weak longs...a move to 57/58 would`nt surprise me either.

If you look at the other indices, NQ has made new highs while ES and YM look like they're in the bottoming process.
