Not terrifying as a trader. Terrifying as an investor...and particularly terrifying to contemplate the effects it might have on the overall economy.

As a trader, it would be exciting as hell. But some of us actually have business interests and a life beyond of trading. And loss of 50% of stock market capitalization couldn't be good news for those things.

You are right. I would probably make killing on the ES, but the same night my house would probably be looted by an angry mob.
 
Trading looked better in my view on Friday MB. You were not stupid to move your profit target, just make certain that your trailing stop is also moved at the same time (outside the noise of course--grow a set of bollocks). You can be successful with smaller winners, but rarely super successful. Good trading to all. :)

Yup, I definitely trailed too tight, and missing the last part of the move Friday was my fault.

what is the rule of 10? I did a google search for it but i could only find a reference to playing a card game i dont know how to play and i dont understand how it would relate to trading.
