As a general observation, it seems to be a trend (no pun intended!) in the ES journal that great contributors like Spectre2007 eventually get put off by the WAY people make comments or question about their prior input. And no Pekelo, I'm not referring to your question here, I just think this is a good time to consider that we sometimes treat contributors like everything they say is carved in stone - when they will be the first to tell you it is not. We are dealing with probabilities, not certainties. It seems to me that a successful trader would change their opinions and viewpoints on the run as new information becomes available, and if that means reverse your position on a dime, that's what you do. So let's not crucify contributors for changing their opinions or positions - that's why its called trading, not investing. Sorry for the rant everyone, but I thought that needed to be said.
for the diamond watchers out there.....anytime you see a quick up down pattern like we see on the 10min....you can start looking for a build out of it`s parameters like we`re starting to see here.

Chris, ImO countertrend trading offers THE best RR, for quite a few reasons, but of course the main being the size of stops used, when countertrend trading a trader is trying to bottom fish, picking trades near LOD etc, so stop is really a lot smaller than trend trading, well, this is only in my experience
I am not referring to longer term trends like weekly as I mainly work off short term charts like 5 and 10 minute ones.i'll take the opposite position.
spectre has been contributing a tremendous amount for quite awhile. i'm baffled that such a small challenge could cause someone to leave the room...forever! while i would vehemently disagree with those who do harsh, direct attacks (like what happened to jj awhile back), i think a little challenge shouldn't be cause for someone running off in tears....
i would think by 36 yo (or was it 38?) one would have developed a slightly thicker skin....
