Murray, could you elaborate a bit on this? I am having difficulty understanding where you are a turtle type trader but prefer not to hold overnight. To me , that is one of the main turtle traits(holding overnight).

======================
You are right on the long term trendSPY/ES equals UP.

Mentioned prefer not to hold ES over night, but daytrade it;
but 50 day moving average was bearish almost all day.
=========================================
And 50dma closed bearish,its still bearish premarket but gapping UP[direction of longest trend].

Also i got that ''turtle'' nickname as a kid, from my older bro.
So i consider 50day moving average long enough trend for me
============================================

Also did hold some polar bearish NasdaQQQ derivatives overnight; but sold them intraday yesterday. To me turtle trading is serious study,
trading with %%gains,
and paying attention to all data,like NasdaQQQ longer trends going from$120 to $21 /and $2o area. Usually dont hold hold derivatives overnight

Also i visit Curtis''inflector''turtle Faith website regularly;
most people dont know Rich Dennis [another original turtle]did lots of derivative daytrading sometime.
The truth will set you free
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
murray, nickname t turtle
& like you Buy1sell 2 ,i take my nickname seriously

:cool:

gdp from previous quarters might be revised higher but the headline gdp will come in weak. confounding trading pattern, usually the headline number is faded.

62-64 doesnt matter its just a chart point where its off 100 points from its highs.

actually 1365 zone is the 200 day......very relevant.......20 handle pop minimum.
