15 Minute Just fired I think at 1399.75... ?

It's possible, but it is not obvious to me, therefore staying long or staying on the side is best I believe:)

romik the 1145 (EST) bar that just closed is what i'm talking about. in hindsight there is no grail because the bar closed at 1400. but there was a grail when price traded at 1399.5 between 1130 and 1145

you ain't listening or it goes into one ear and comes out the other, grails have to be visualised AFTER bars close not in the process.

EDIT: If price goes higher now, it will not change the presence of a short grail, it will fail it, but even that depends on your stops used, to one trader using 2 point stop it will be a failure, to another one using 3 it will be a winner.

To say it another way, until 1145 you do not have a collection of 15min bars. You have a series of 15min bars with a 3min bar or a 7min bar or a 11min bar or a ... attached at the end.

If your signals are based on 15min bars, you cannot use some other "loose" bar at the end of the collection to determine your signal.

Apologies if I have added to the confusion.

It may take me a while to get good. Hard work pays off. Sometimes it takes a very long while. The best thing one can do is chunk all he knows about trading when begin emini daytrading. Stock trading requires news awareness, long term scenarios, etc. Daytrading eminis is like no other.

B1, question here, as most that eyeball intraday charts, I've noticed that price starts to shift when hourly/240 approaching closing bar (smaller TFs as well), right now there is a possible long grail on the hourly chart, so if a long grail presents itself right now on 15, would you take it or wait for the hourly to complete in 30 minutes and then make a decision?

Quote from Buy1Sell2:

If I am trading the 15, I would go ahead.

that's a different scenario, where a strength of a grail on a shorter time frame benefits from a longer one. A different matter altogether. Yesterday was a typical example of my question, where there was a long grail on 3,5,15 and when hourly confirmed there was tremendous upside. Fierstein?
