Ok enough said.

First, I want to apologize to B1S2. I'm sorry. It appears I may have hijacked your journal. that was not my intention. Forgive me.

Secondly, Romik make the jump. You're so close its frustrating to watch you work from where I sit.

m4a1 no offense meant here but romik is right. You'd get beaten up so bad in the pit that you'd beg me to hit you with my left again because my right stings too much.

Thank goodness you are only paper trading.

With all due respect gentlemen, I see a lot of talk on grails and charts and strength and length and blah blah blah.

Does anyone here watch the market's internal indicators?

Something happened at 12:04:37 which I haven't seen for a while. A very strong directional signal with an 80% probability to its outcome came across the tape. The foundation is being laid right now, quietly, for the market move that will be incited by the Fed's minutes.

Does anyone know what that signal was? Figure it out. (it's very big and easy to find) I'll let you know if your right. I won't spoon feed you you have to learn how to feed yourself in order to survive.

I have nothing to prove, just trying to elevate those around me. (it's a karma thing)

just my2cents

just my2cents

an erection? :D

just kidding.

my 2 cents: This journal is very interesting. I am grateful to Romik, Buy1sell2 and Volente for their contributions. Can we make sure this journal is not hijacked and that we keep on:
1. being constructive
2. making good trades

Let's avoid pollution, and please blame me for my reply but I couldn't resist

Yes, I like Romik's and B1S2 posts too but my2Cents put out some very interesting posts not just Blah Blah Blah posts - but ones that had a written plan and structure and made one think about the program trading schema and schedule that goes on each day...

so as long as he is not saturating the Journal... which so far he is far from doing i say post away during the quiet times...

cj...

:)

Yep, along with the Grail signature i watch the sp500 Adv Decl, sp500 Net Change, sp500 Vol Diff, and the sp500 tick - makes entry a LOT easier than watching the NYSE indicators that have so many stocks included in them that have NOTHING to do with the sp500...

but i am not seeing the 12:04 EST signal...

cj...

that's true, I forgot to include my2Cents as an interesting contributor. Let's stay focused.

my2Cents, is the signal still on? :)

My2cents, of course I will be interested, but...

Somebody PMed me a link to a company's site where they provide similar data to yours for a substantial fee, question is why would I need to invest in such a service if grails (OK, perhaps not as 'bullet proof') provide good enough trading signals and if sense is applied, not just reversing every single pattern on short TF (which also showed profitability by the way) provide a very good win/loss ratio.

1. It's not that it isn't one, but I would say RSI CLOSING below 70 would have been better;

2. Why it didn't turn out to be fruitful? Why only a couple of points in the offering? IMO bullish grails on hourly are still a lot stronger than bearish ones, yesterday's long grail on hourly obviously carried into today, it was to be expected.
