Still long, gave back all my profit, these things sometimes happen.
Got a new signal to go long at 1297.75
The long is not over according to my system. The correction is defined as "noise".
But there was a lot of noise.

That was a good signal. I'll have to do some figuring on that.

Play the pullback then decide pullback or reversal.

All the index futures 5 min charts triggered shorts at about the same time. ER YM NQ ES.

One way to use it might be that if you see the possibility of a reversal on your longer term charts, use woodie's method on 5 min charts to time the entry.

Average profit per trade in august is net 4.70 points ( total profit divided by number of trades, including bad trades).

Hi Spike,

I did not do well today. I lost the priority of different timeframes this morning and tried to go short with the 13 min trend bended while everything is up. I don't know what I was thinking... maybe I did too much thinking. After some whipsaw, I tried to correct myself before going to work but I went out to lunch when it was up. I did scalp back 40% of my loss and stop because it is getting a little like gambling... I don't even have my indicators here at work...

Thank you for your advice. It's been extremely helpful to take entries in the direction of the trend (avoid entry against the trend). Today ended my recent winning streak.

it's like double upon me, i assume that other months your system generates more than 4.7, when mine stays pretty much the same all the time.
