Quote from spike500:

Average profit per trade in august is net 4.70 points ( total profit divided by number of trades, including bad trades).

Jesus, I would have to get to 4.70 pt average winning trades first before I could get to 4.70 points profit divided by total trades including bad trades. This is probably 3 leagues above me.

Bulls have certainly been shaken today.

Many of the charts have formed a doji top so be on the lookout for a down trend day tomorrow.

JMHO

Thank god is Friday :D well here anyway.

The last time I look (this morning), the daily and weekly are up. But of course it could go down, what do I know? :(

Spike, I consider myself doing well this month with much lower statistics. Your numbers will be like doubling and tripling your account every month??
I am not so sure my brain can handle that kind of money growth.

I just calculated mine, it came out at 0.97 points per trade, but I double position size after a losing trade, so that number is not entirely correct, as the amount of contracts has not been accounted for, just number of trades. If I was to include amount of contracts in the calculation, then the number would be around 2 points per trade, which is bang on target for me.

Romik, I think Spike is really talking about 4.7 point per CONTRACT since he has to do size because of the rate he is printing out money.

We are talking about Stratosphere here.

I know he does not compound aggressively, so you are not entirely correct in your assumption.

I could be wrong but I remember he said he trade $2000 margin per contract but true he probably pulls money out of the account.

so what?

4.7 points per trade doesn't add up. Say he trades only 5 contracts, he would be only making a point per contract. I think I can do that.
