91 trades 45 winners 49.45%

Total profit including commissions= $11,573.14

There is roughly 8500 in unrealized profit as well. Of course, that cannot be counted as I could lose that and more by keeping the trades open!

B1, I know you do not use CCI, but check out a really amazing BLD that occurred on 60 min chart Mon to Tuesday

Yes, I looked and that was a very decisive and very clear BLD on the CCI on 60 minute charts. Good catch!

One thing to mention here. We had quite a rally today and there is always the possibility of pullbacks etc. I am still bullish short term on the daily chart and I believe it to be prudent to buy intraday bullish signals going forward at least for a while. Longer term, I am still bearish and continue to hold 9 positional shorts in the long term account which is based upon weekly charts.

I'm new to this thread and was lurking about the other day making the occasional comment but not really contributing much. I do not trade ES but do watch the futures closely as part of my trading strategy (I daytrade GOOG). I am impressed with the candor and helpful exchanges of info which I have seen among several of the participants. In short I am here to try and learn something and as well share any pearls (real and imagined - ho, ho) that I might come upon. Again it is really nice to find a thread where people appreciate that Mr. Market will do what he will do and that egos have a minimal role in dealing with such a reality.

My current take is that we are done with the bottom for a little while if only because its end of month, quarter and half year. A couple of people I follow (Jeff Cooper and Alan Farley) quote this logic and as well Cooper is heavily into Gann cycles (not the moon-Mars stuff) and says the cycles point up for the next few weeks. Longer term I am also bearish but when the next leg of the tank will come I can't say and won't hazard a guess, right now. But coming it is.

Good luck in your trading.
:)

Hey Romik,
How is everything going for you. I have been watching this thread since stopping mine. I hope you guys don't mind. Looks like all of you have got things going very well. Hope you have had a few good steak dinners this week. Mine will have to come less often since I stopped trading futures but when I get one it will be steak and lobster, hopefully. Just wanted to wish all you guys well.

Regards,
4re

2 scalps today. One @ 1265 the other 1262. Total of 9 points. Still have the overnite and will look to add above 1275+ area. For anyone that hasn't tried experimenting with positional trading I will say it is much more relaxing and cost effective. Risk management skills have to be in order and well defined. Have a good weekend guys.

that was actually incorrect as the bar has not completed on 60 min, therefore it was not a completed pattern, apologise

it has finished formation of a BRD CCI 60 min yesterday and anyone shorting from yesterday close had a nice winner here, nice one Sosa!

now we have a triple bottom on RSI and CCI 30 min frame, which is also looking like a divergence (triple), will wait for a shorter time frames to start kicking to the upside first and histogram, prior to taking a long.

I am staying long through what I perceive to be pullbacks in a bullish scenario. For the guys using the shorter terms to trade, --this not a disagreement with you--just a different time frame and perspective. Shorter frame charts certainly have both sided trading available.
