What is with the long jump in ES a few minutes ago?

how long do you hold positions when you position trade?

On 5 minute charts.

I got filled on the short at 1261 but coverd at 1260.50 for .50 points because it kept hitting support near there so grabbed the quickie and got out...

Things were nice and active this morn., but has turned into a quiet afternoon. Although there is a gradual upward bias.

Blast off is coming soon perhaps.... institutional money might come in and push us positive today. Like to see us close above 1263 with a late push to 1266 perhaps...

EDIT: I meant close above 1263 in one of the 5 minute bars coming up I was looking at.
