You have a different Journal for your position trades, so there is nothing to prove on that point.Quote from Buy1Sell2:
Noone here has ever had interest in my position trades. ET is a site for daytraders.

The problem with posting your ES position trades in this Journal is that you usually feel the need to defend them as well ... and quite often you're trades look at a much larger timeframe than what is happening on an intra-day level.
So quite often what would happen is that your position trade time frame would be down while the intra-day time frame was blasting up by 15 or 20 points ... while there was never any confusion amongst the experienced traders, anyone looking at the Journal with an eye towards getting advice on what to do on an intra-day level, was looking in the wrong place. And I don't believe it was very effective telling people to be Long and Short at the same time, although there certainly are traders who can trade like that.

It's all a moot point.
it's your Journal and you can do what you want with it, not to mention that I don't believe posting trades on an internet board is good professional conduct for an intra-day trader while they are managing their position(s), anway.
Much more information is gleaned from observiing your process than from observing your trades, and it is more important to know what works and build a trading model based on that information, rather than knowing why someone is taking a trade ... once you have the aforementioned tools, you can figure that one out by yourself.
Good trading
