Quote from saxon22:

If they do than you are a better Sherlock than I am. Naturally, the market going up MON - WED and including previous Friday's gain was clearly whispering "get short", but I doubt one could have seen that 60 point drop.
However, just because I do not see it does not mean others are blind too, for example, smilingsynic stated on Friday (today) that he has bought a position (ES) for a longer period (1 week I think)and is expecting 50 point gain per contract. That is a bold prediction. Volente on the other hand sees the market going to 1290. Both of those guys really KNOW (imho and observation) how to trade. So WHO IS RIGHT AND WHO IS WRONG? Time will tell. In the meantime, if there are clues how come one is stating the opposite of the other's statement?

amen.

sometimes i think these guys purposely tell falsehoods to throw us off...and yes, i do mean folks on this thread. others tend to say exactly what they think and they are often right but sometimes wrong. i agree that there are probably footprints of the whales and that some probably know how to read them, but some people think it's funny to say the opposite of what's true just to throw off the newbs...i've found them doing that more than once....

If you covered and went long at 1320, 1343 would be first target with potential to trace back up to 1373.

I don't see that yet, more downside before 1373 ImO

market sentiment may be too bearish to move this lower.....................www2.barchart.com/momentum.asp...........look at bottom of page, all stocks, 65-80% under 20,50 100 and 200 day moving average...normally that would be a buy signal

Sometimes we just change our minds when the price action invalidates our original thesis. Moreover, some of us post because we want others to challenge our thinking.

I cannot see why any serious trader would post to mislead a newbie.

Who has time for that?
