What are you seeing here? Are you on 1 minute chart or longer? Thanks

bought pullback (off yesterday's high), going with the trend, no bearish divergences so far, only minor ones on 1 minute chart. Also fast stoch pulled below 10 and on the up.

I was going to write that the action has become harder to read lately, then you see something like what just happened which is my point.

Shorted Jan close (1275), covered @ the open. 1275 area short term resistance. I expect chop for the rest of the day so I maybe finished. Also shorted Ym as well @ the same time for some gravy.

Be patient and wait for your set ups. My favorite one is the gap up followed by the buyers who jump in late. I fade this 90% of the time. If you are scalping take your gain and move on to the next trade.

Is this the January close on the S&P you are referring to? I didn't know people were watching monthly values. Or is it Fridays close ?

Don't know about others but I do. Yesterday we bounced off the Dec 31 close. Naturally I checked where Jan ended (127.50 SPY). I use the ETF price to gauge the entry, since the ES and cash index can differ @ times. Its just a gauge to know where they are trading. This will take some of that confusion you might have and clear it up a bit.
