Flat. Done for the day. Too much support for any RTH biggie moves, imo.

Good trades to all
Osorico :)

intraday price action was negative, even though low volume. chart looks negative. first target neckline at 1530.

util average closed very negative.
oil up, upside breakout above 70.
bonds closed on uptick secondary to weak upcoming data.

I agree with Spectre & B1S2, but think more confirmation is required at this moment.

ballywonderful,

welcome to the forum, I read your article regarding training sims for futures traders. And there are sims, one thing I use to do with a sim was use geometric size progression on reversals, I would start out with 1 lot and keep doubling the lot everytime I felt the sentiment shift.

what you find is the ability to admit to yourself you made a mistake is rare in the human psyche, and by the time you admit it, the mistake has led to irrepreable damage.

those fluid enough walkaway with gains.

interesting observation B1........are you basing this solely on the RSI divergance,daily/weekly & would a new hi on S&P cash negate this "turn" & change your observation or actually provide a lo risk/ hi R/R scenario?

The divergence in RSI and MACD is key. I jumped the gun at 1518.50 short earlier when I attempted am overnight trade based upon intraday charts.

I am short now from 1544.00 with a stop out above the recent 1554.00 high basis Sept.

Buy1Sell2:

You stated: "Market has experienced a short term trend change and we are currently in a downtrend. Only shorts should be taken."

What market are you looking at when you state the above? We are not in a downtrend as far as I can see. We have not been in a downtrend since early 2003 or one could make the case the later part of 2002.

DMartin

"Short term trend change" is the optimum phrase here.
