Jesus Christ, no. No, no, no.

The market did it's part. It was the trader who failed.

I really feel very strongly about this point.

How can a trader succeed if he feels the market is out to get him or punish him?

Some boxers have a natural talent for punishing their opponents. The rest of us start by learning defense, and then we begin anticipating what the predator standing across from us might try to do, typically something confusing that induces us to make a mistake.

By anticipating our mistakes we anticipate the predator trying to push us into making them.

As for you, here is where we separate. The Lord is not a curse word.

I don't think this is going to help you, but maybe it can if it empowers you or gives you motivation to keep studying and learning.

To be clear, I'm not denying the concept of trapped traders and how that can trigger strong moves. But that relates to the why and not to the how. Explaining the why of a price move can be interesting, but it's only the how which puts money into your pocket.

It was not meant as a curse word. I'm from Norway, so maybe that part got lost in translation.

Off-topic but doesn't surprise me -- just had a conversation with someone about how there is a spiritual vacuum in a lot of European countries. Not meant as a criticism of you or anyone else -- just an observation. But I'm with @Wide Tailz on the use of JC. :)

First off, I never said anything about my own personal beliefs with regards to religion and spirituality. I'll keep that private. It is however true that Norway is an increasingly secular society.

Second, it was not meant as a curse word like I already said. The way I've understood it, it's a curse word if I said J f**k C. Which I didn't.

So, I sincerely apologize if anyone was offended as it seems to have been interpreted differently than how I meant it. I was just emphatically trying to make a strong point.

Thank you.
