The 2808 short position in the big account remains active.

He should have taken that 2789's when he had the chance for a nice 30 point take. I told him there'd be buyers there. He should have been one of them.

Bollinger bands can be a useful indicator, but the indicator must not be mistaken as indicating anything more than it was designed to indicate, imo.
