Common sense would tell one that this is the correct way to look at it. Gaps are gaps in price printings. If you went the other way, you would be keeping track of "gaps" all over the place and that just has no basis in any kind of reality.

I do not expect anyone to follow me, rather I have said repeatedly, "do not follow me". I am simply posting here for accountability to myself. I will occasionally pass along strong risk management guidelines but I expect noone to follow what I am doing nor do I ask anyone to do so.
