Only when he goes long. He'll sit on hundreds of points of open drawdown on longs, but I can tell he is a cautious short. Hard to blame him, everyone was conditioned to expect violent rips higher off of any short term weakness the past 9-10 years.
You might have to bite the bullet and play the accordion in your original range projection.
