Agree. Just scares the crap out of me to see it unfold and everyone including institutions making the same mistakes over and over. And guess who gefs burned in the end. The general public thinking their savings and investments are ok vause this time is different. Dont care what anyone says. History repeats. This time is absolutely no different.

if you are so sure about the inevitable crash (i see markets move in boom bust cycles; but i don't try to fight it or think about the rationale of "why" trends persist)...do you have a very serious plan on what you will do when (or before) we really crash?

Took a long as well...48.25.....however my chart show SPX is very toppy so I'm collaring the trade..sold next weeks( Thurs EOM) 1750 call @ 8.25 and bought a 35 put @4.30...we could stay here or at least in this neighborhood forEVER...ugh

got some other crap on but I'm beginning to trade for the sake of trading so taking off..have a great weekend ya'll

Have an order to sell out of this long at 58.75 ....if we get there.

I honestly "thought" we would go down last week because after op ex market is often weak. I was forced into long simply because of my over all neg deltas.

Shoot...we could just slowly grind out high after high! I decided to look at the monthly and we haven't had a meaningful RED month 2011!!!. perhaps Nov may give some pull back but I'm not counting on it as traditionally Nov-Dec are pretty good months. Short term its still a two sided market so possible to go both ways but until I can see any meaningful change in the trend I'm going to try and scalp to the upside.

sorry for the edits...need a bit more coffee to read my own dam charts:D

My plan is to trade what i see and not what I think and to not let the media influence my positions (a mix of both long and short). I have been buying gold and silver over the last 3 months and I remain debt free with a job intact (at least for now). Nobody truly knows what will happen and we r all entitled to our opinion. I am simply stating what I believe along with some bits and pieces found on the internet.

I know u have been trading long enough to trade through the cycles and know that predictibg them are next to impossible.
