Anyone scalp the ES here?

What prices do you use on a tick chart? Ask? Bid? Or last?

have you successfully scalped any product - any other future? Because only 2 kind of people ask question like this - professional scalpers who scalp other products already successfully or new guys who don't understand how hard it is to scalp ES. I was like this around 8 months back or so.

Handle123 primarily is a scalper but he has 34 yrs of experience. Other than that, I think scalping ES is pretty darn hard, because of thick insidebid-ask size and commissions. Its much easier to go for bigger moves.

Thanks but I didn't manage it well.

Anyways, I am back in the trade....Long 1411.25. It seems price is going to run a bit more.

Yes, I think you are correct - a trailing stop in the original trade would have been much better.

out at 1411.5. Now short 1411.5....looking to get around 2-3 points.

I don`t intentionally scalp, but I do look at a 1000-volume chart displaying the 'last' price. Never put much thought into it. Should I?

Why are you asking?

Time for a little lunch time feel good pop. Make the masses happy. Financial channels can say....As the markets are at the highs for the day. Maybe the masses will open the purses at Christmas if the markets are up.

I'm asking because I'd like to know what other successful ES scalpers are looking at here? Seems last is the best, for the ES and YM... That's a 1 tick, line on the close chart, last price...
