There is back and forth, and then there is a bunch of orangutans throwing feces and screeching. This was the latter.

Go back and youtube a few videos of back and forth debates from past Presidential elections. I did. What a stark difference.

Actually the rules called for 2 minutes each.

if someone says something you dont like you get a rebuttal time slot, you dont have to interrupt every 10 seconds to jump on every word.

Right! Keep notes. Write down and rebut what was said when it is your turn. Save the back and forth for the time when back and forth is allowed. There are still a large number of citizens that prefer civility. Just because a good of folks are happy with the social media gone mad type behavior doesn't mean everyone is.

I have never figured out why they do not have a system in these debates where the other candidates mike is off while the person is within their allotted time. I guess the argument is that it would be rude or something. Let's just agree that there is probably more rudeness that results from the chaos of not enforcing rules.

next one is town hall meeting I think with audience asking questions....

Will Trump answer the question being asked or simply start ripping into Biden?
Will Trump interrupt Biden while he is answering an audience member's question?
Will the network have a commercial cued up and everytime the two start interrupting and talking over each other can they just go to commercial and just issue a warning and cut them off?

Can Trump get through a debate without bringing up family when his own family is employed because of him?

I would criticize Biden but he hardly got to speak last night or get in a few sentences...

They should have a timer imposed below the podium to ensure both candidates get equal time. Chris Wallace on atleast, 1 instance cut President Donald Trump's rebuttal to 1 minute after allowing Joe Biden to talk 2 minutes?

True but I imagine if A says he did this, then B has to say it was horrible and the shit show starts to flow again.

I am hoping that the presence of audience based questions brings out more decorum since they are voters.
