Here's another set of stats from the feds about the number of inmates in state and federal prisons by race and sex per 100,000.

A large part of the black population can't get welfare because they are already sapping our money by being in prison.

I'm not getting into your argument regarding skin tones or anything, but SS should not be considered government assistance, since you pay into it to get it later on.

Yes Ricter you're 100 % right. Whites do have more lobbying power... Way more lobbying power. But whites don't use that power based on race. We're talking about whites using their lobbying power for business interests mostly.

Blacks on the other hand, have a lot of their own business people but their communities do not use their lobbying and political power for business purposes. They mostly use it to further their advancements within government. Meaning that getting into the public sector is the only way they can make a living and they completely ignore the idea that black businesses can thrive too.

Now most of the white lobbyists to government are corporate welfare recipients and they outspend blacks (or anyone else) for that right.

Somewhere in between conservatives became the supporters of the corporate welfare recipients and liberals became the supporters of black advancement within government. Racism became the main dividing issue for many. THIS IS ALL BULLSHIT AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING A LIBERAL OR A CONSERVATIVE.

Some certainly do--the ones who feel threatened. But in general why would they? They are the socioeconomic majority.

This has occurred as the reality of stratification has become revealed to so many more people, and as criticism of that stratification has grown. The privileged are battling more for their position and the GOP (mostly) is their muscle.

Maybe some do feel threatened but off the top of my head I can't think of any who have lobbyied for more rights for whites. Usually, they're looking for oil and gas rights or for the government to purchase their goods and services. The idea that they call themselves "capitalists" or "job creators" is just too funny. It's actually the government financing their operations through borrowing.

Right. And it's probably the gap closing that has some whites alarmed. If blacks command this much change with their current state, and then close the gap, what does that say for the future ability to command policy and change?
