Election Night 2022 Thread

What is wrong with mail in voting though since we still want to count a ballot and we are not at the stage were people can vote from home. there is no law that requires people to vote in person and the comment about mail in votes since the Civil War proves it was accepted by our Constitution and is a viable method to vote as long as safeguards are in place.

People in college mail in vote because they are in another state....
MIlitary votes by mail in because they are stationed in a different location than where they are registered...
Elderly vote by mail since they want to avoid standing in long lines...
Handicapped or disabled may not be able to access a voting station or be able to get out...
Some people plan trips or have business that will take them away from home... shit happens...

things have changed but mail in voting is something that has been around for valid reasons unless you want college kids and military to have their constitutional rights stripped simply because of geography? Are you going door to door to make sure everyone is physically able to leave their house?
All good points regarding the military, elderly, disabled. But the rest... fat lazy people... uh-uh... show up in person and bring an id.

Polling very good in Ohio as well capturing The Republican momentum. It's just not believable that Democrats gained momentum in these other states. Again, I've seen no evidence of fraud at this point, but this thing smells.

It is hard to prove ballot harvesting but, it has been done. Lots of security camera footage of mules in the November 8, 2020 elections. 2000 Mules movie clearly shows how it is done. You have hidden cameras recording the mules, admitting to what they have done. Now, it is quite possible, the same bad actors did it again. After all, not a single mule was arrested and prosecuted. They can still investigate this year's November 8, 2022 election and audit the results. However, RINOs will not even lift their fingers, to even look at it. Look at Cochise county in Arizona. They refused a very limited hand recount to see if the results of the voting machines count matches a hand recount. Democrats filed suit to oppose that. What are they hiding?

because what you are saying is what we hear on tv and can be dangerous and what has been repeated by many politicians, especially on the GOP side who have lost and are blaming mail in votes and the lie grows and we get January 6th and politicians threated with death or violence.

My polling place is right across the street practically.... that is not true for everyone. Also when I lived much closer to the city, the lines for major elections was 2 hours minimum and you wait outside to enter the library or government building. During the 2008 election we waited 2.5 hours to vote outside in November weather in the Northeast.

My final point is:

Well, like I said, if they can figure out a fool-proof way to validate the identity, I personally have no problem with it.
As for it being a pain in the ass... well, so is April 15th... but ya gotta do it as an American. One day a year is not asking too much.
Maybe they should combine Veterans Day with voting day and make THAT the national holiday.
If I was in Congress, I'd pen that bill. It would die I'm sure. But... whatever.

Edit... I said "new" pics. :sneaky:

And no(!), I don't listen to what the TV says... I just call it as I see it and if a household gets two ballots mailed to them, and they are apathetic as to voting, what's to stop them from giving the two ballots to their 30 year old kid and saying "do whatever you want". Federal law? Pff... pretty hard to prove if both parents sign their respective ballots. You can't tell me that doesn't happen. ON BOTH SIDES!
