I was just checking the news to see if Chuck Schumer has called for regime change in France yet, because, ya know, I have issues with Macron too.

Yeah, judging by your apparent embracing of the Jan6 insurrection, I gathered you were not big on regime change.
RFKs supposed VP is a democrat thus appealing to left wing voters more than right wing voters which was always the case with RFK.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is expected to tap California attorney and entrepreneur Nicole Shanahan as his running mate, according to a report.
Shanahan, a Democratic donor who was once married to Google cofounder Sergey Brin, funded Kennedy’s pricey Super Bowl campaign commercial, Mediaite reported Saturday.
The pair “align on numerous issues,” including his condemnation of vaccines, and she can help funnel money into Kennedy’s long-shot bid and get him on ballots in all 50 states, sources close to the campaign told the outlet.
The pick notably keeps New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, whom Kennedy said was considering as his Vice President, off the November ballot.
Kennedy’s campaign declined to confirm that he’s made a decision.
“There has been a lot of speculation in the media about Mr. Kennedy’s pick of vice presidential running mate,” his campaign’s press office told The Post in a statement.
The official announcement will be on March 26 in Oakland, CA. We hope to see you there.”
Shanahan, 38, told The New York Times last month she had given $4 million to the super PAC, American Values 2024, to fund the $7 million 30-second Super Bowl commercial.
While claimnig to not be an “anti-vaxxer,” she said she shared Kennedy’s constant attacks on vaccines. She also describes herself as a progressive who cares about children’s health.
She donated to President Biden’s campaign in 2020 and gave the maximum $6,600 to Kennedy’s campaign in May 2023 while he was still seeking the Democratic nomination, according to records obtained by The Times.

A reader or two may recall that a couple weeks ago or so, I underscored the little factoid that -at the Dem Convention- the nominations and confirmations of the president and the vice president may occur at the same timeframe but they are actually two separate motions and votes. And I also said that -although I am not saying it will necessarily happen- that before this little kabuki dance is over some dems will hype up the possibility of confirming Joe but not Kamala. Again, not saying this will happen but the threat of it is one of the obligatory drums that some dems will bang on. The argument being that removing Kamala increases Joe's electability and if Kamala falls off the ticket due to a vote, then that let's Joe off the hook for throwing the black girl overboard. Yeh, it would be brutal but some dems actually want to win in November so the medicine might be tough to take.
Okay, so why do I regurgitate that? Because the Washington Post continues to run "Kamala's gotta go" opinion pieces. Including today. Now, we all have to be big boys and acknowledge that this is how newspapers roll. They keep running positions as "opinion pieces" to deny advocacy by the paper itself. Ahh okay, and add those opinion pieces calling for Joe to go in there and it is not pretty.
