Those gold bars of his are worth about $50K. Since he was (allegedly) on the take and for sale to the highest bidder.... I wonder if the FBI took apart that old VCR out in his garage to see if there were any of these (made in Taiwan) were secretly hidden in its guts.Just thought I would post this article here in case Senator Menendez is still reading the forum.

That's a sweet deal for Menendez though. He is a definite flight risk if his case starts looking bad for him. He likes to tout his Cuban connections. He has plenty of cash, gold, and crypto stashed in other countries and Cuba and Venezuela have no extradition treaties. He flies into one of the Caribbean countries using his government passport. And most of the countries have direct flights into Cuba. BOOM.
One thing that is 100 percent certain is that Menendez will be doing quite a bit of prison time. He won't skate like he did with the underage hookers a few years ago.
The lefty media will circle the wagons to protect Menendez with the "innocent until proven guilty" shtick.

Ya know... his daughter's husband---- his grandfather was President of Cuba before Castro came along. Not sure how that works, but I'd imagine there are some good connections still around down there.
Democrats protect one of their own. Corruption should not be tolerated by anyone. However, nowadays, Democrats can do anything and not made to suffer any consequences. And if there are any cases filed, they just bury it deep to never see the light of day.
