All of these republicans are Trump’s acolytes. Unless a Republican candidate can steer the party into a new direction, short of imprisonment, Trump will be the nominee. The more republicans in the boat the higher the likelihood of Trump being the nominee.

Biden is the incumbent president, I can’t recall the last time an incumbent was not their party nominee. People are like put Biden on a democrat debate. Yeah ok. Like that has happened in the last 45 years. It’s not going to happen. Hell the Republican platform in 2020 was a pledge to Donald Trump!

Maybe. I certainly don't agree that they are all Trump's acolytes.

But if the GOP nominates Trump then they deserve what they get. He's about the only person that can lose against Biden. Maybe that's why the left is trying so hard to make Trump the nominee.

Dems are 1 for 2 against Trump, with a weak incumbent. We could definitely end up with a Trump 2.0 presidency. Still, I would give Biden the inside track as of now.

The House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed the records of a phone belonging to Joe Biden that was paid for by Hunter Biden's business, according to the head of the Government Responsibility Institute.

Peter Schweizer who keeps a keen eye on political corruption stated on Tuesday in an interview, that the records were found on Hunter Biden's laptop computer - the phone had in question been used between 2009 to 2017 when the current commander in chief was still vice president.


"We obtained that phone number and we’ve shared it with individuals and the Oversight Committee in Congress is going to subpoena those phone records. And what’s important here is that’s not a government phone, this is not Joe Biden’s private phone that he’s paying for himself. It’s actually [Hunter] Biden’s business that paid for it," Schweizer said.

The only question now is will Trump actually make him cry.

I will be fair to DeSantis here, he is only 44 years old and is in his second term as a governor of a major state. He has taken a lead role against “woke” which is a very important issue to the right wing. On the negative side he has also taken some pretty unpopular policy stands on major issues like abortion and entitlements (although he will deny entitlements).

He should be a major force to be reckoned with in the Republican primary. My money says Trump makes him cry on stage.

As discussed. we disagreed over whether DeSantis should start the mud wrestling earlier or later- with my favoring the later. Either way, later has arrived.
