Dems are 1 for 2 against Trump, with a weak incumbent. We could definitely end up with a Trump 2.0 presidency. Still, I would give Biden the inside track as of now.

I certainly hope not. But conservatives like myself probably won't vote Trump. And there are a lot of folks on the right that don't like the guy.

The only question now is will Trump actually make him cry.

I will be fair to DeSantis here, he is only 44 years old and is in his second term as a governor of a major state. He has taken a lead role against “woke” which is a very important issue to the right wing. On the negative side he has also taken some pretty unpopular policy stands on major issues like abortion and entitlements (although he will deny entitlements).

He should be a major force to be reckoned with in the Republican primary. My money says Trump makes him cry on stage.

Why, thank you! I was just noting your leap to assume he was giving a Nazi salute. My additional images were to show you that politicians sometimes are caught in weird poses, but this has nothing to do with their ideology, of course. And the likelihood that someone would know the context of a photo back then is rather low. But then, you knew all of this, of course.

Florida isn’t hurting for jobs, as you pointed out. Openings are now booming in the construction industry.

My point was don’t think Disney doesn’t understand how to play politics or that they are done with DeSantis.

Coming from the guy who has never admitted to being in err - in the history of his time on the forum - that's a pretty bad take.

"What's with the weird salute" would probably be how I'd have asked it. But you wanted to make a snarky comment about Rumsfeld being a Nazi.

Reminds me of when folks tried to say Rittenhouse was a White Supremacist because he flashed the "OK" sign, and then I posted this one.
