Republicans don't want Joe to be seeing any reason why he should drop out.
The hope is that Joe will hang in there and run out the clock so that it becomes too ungodly late for any alternative to step in and mount a campaign- and then Joe sh#ts the bed (again and again and again) but you are stuck with him.

In addition, Sen. Tina Smith (D-MN), Reps. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Rashid Tlaib (D-MI), and other members of Congress, delivered remarks on a variety of topics including Project 2025, reproductive rights, worker’s rights, political organizing, and Supreme Court ethics.

This woman was on a rant and every person and point she wanted to bash, she prefaced with "maga". I thought to myself how silly she would sound if she used the words instead of the acronym.
Anyway, Elon Musk according to her, is just another low-life maga billionaire.
The man that has done more for green energy outside of the lip-service these prog nut-cases do so well, than anyone in the world.

In regard to green energy, it is interesting how Bill Gates is one of - if not the- leading investor in nuclear energy these days. You don't see the dems and progressives getting on his arse do you. They take his money just fine too. Yeh, that D after his name buys a lot of protection.
