It’s no big secret the republicans should have embraced mail in voting. Dollar for dollar, because their voters tend to be less urban, it’s the biggest bang for the buck.

But of course you can’t really turn that ship with Trump at the helm because he can’t give up the argument of a rigged election.

Fund raising to date. A few points:

1. money can’t buy you love. Biden still has very low approval polling and money usually can’t bring up your favorable ratings.

2. republicans are vulnerable here because while money cannot buy love it sure can be used to drive down your opponents favorable ratings.

2b. I have not dug into where the money is coming from but republican donors may be fatigued with giving to Trump and buying his merch. I’m not sure how many big dollar donors are lining up for this party led by Trump or the totally anemic legislative side of business. I’m not really sure where the traditional deal between the republicans and big money incentive is anymore either. This may be showing up in the numbers. I don’t know.

The dems are hard to compete with because they have been running scams for years. Obama had ACORN out handing out packs of cigarettes to anyone who would register to vote, then another pack to vote. They already have their vans lined up for November to give rides to the polls or to swing by and harvest the ballots in your apartment. They have been at it block by block, apartment unit by apartment unit for years. Every dem voter has an overseer assigned to harvest that vote of make sure the person has voted. Being dead will not be a barrier to voting, as usual.
