But the real issue is that ....no it was not "gratuitious" and unnecessary political talk. The document providing the designation of the special counsel and describing his duties specifically said that he was authorized to make findings and bring charges if necessary but that he had to specify the charges and give detailed reasons. BUT it also said that if he declined to bring any charges that he had to explaine and outline the reasons for the declinations. THUS, the prosecutor was required to list his reasoning for declinations and he did that. He said he was not doiing it because he could not get a conviction due to the mental state of the defendant. That was his reasoning, and he was required under the terms of his appointment to state what his reasoning was. It does not matter whether anyone agrees with him or not. That is the purpose of requiring him to state it so that others can agree, disagree, or simply be informed. BOOM!

Had he not stated his reasoning, it would have made things even worse. Then there would be an appearance that special counsel made findings but did not bring charges due to political interference from the white house or two-tiered system or whatever. And that would not have been pretty either.

Actually the comments about memory and elderly were superfluous to his declining reasoning. But you’re the one making the allegations so you must have read the report. NOT.

Hur noted two incidents of Biden getting dates confused. One of him thinking out loud while trying to figure out a timeline of 7 or 8 years back and whether he was in office or not at the time and another was the year of his son’s passing.

To put this in context my youngest was sick 2 or 3 weeks ago and I had to pick up her medicine at the pharmacy. To verify her identity I had to give her birthday and what do you know I could not recall the year exactly. Anyone who is a parent and reads this knows exactly what I’m saying too.

Biden’s weakness has always been his age. He is old and comes across as old, and his stammering doesn’t help. While these are issues that can and do impact voters, it should not have been in a DOJ investigation report.

Your comments are a complete crock. It is clear from the report and his statement that his memory and elderlyness were central to his decision to not prosecute.

I usually am tolerant of your need to earn your potato so let you spew out tripe to do what your script tells you to do. Don't press your luck. Your attempt to keep your ilk in their trance state when this is a clear wake-up call is a danger to the Republic. Americans should not be fucking around playing poitical word games as you are attempting. This clown needs to vacate the position of leader of the free world. The special counsel’s report takes what seems at times gratuitous aim at Biden’s memory and mental capability as it lays out the ways in which the president could mount a hypothetical defense had he been charged with a crime.

It reports: “We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

All of the sources reporting it, including the one I included in my post above, place those words in direct quotes. If they are all wrong then that is a stretch but I will deal with when that has been shown to be case. So far. NOT.

Further, and you should support this, Biden's interview with the special counsel was video recorded. That should be released to the public and we will all see- especially since you are challenging direct quotes from the report. In addition the special counsel needs to appear before the house or senate to have his actions fully examined to answer any and all questions.

Giddy-up let's go. Maybe put a giant mega tv screen up too as the Jan 6 committee did.

Get ready for the subpoena for the video and full transcript. The media should be requesting that already, let alone oversight committees.

Not sayin' this is headed anywhere. He is just trying to remain relevant and get press. Nevertheless I thought we got rid of him for at least a short while. Nope. He may be looking for a campaign position in some third party movement too. I mean, like, what else does he have to do?
