Election 2024 Foreplay

We will see what the state by state ballots look like. Third parties still have to get on the ballots. The Israel-Hamas conflict can certainly play in Michigan and Pennsylvania. The truth is all of this poll is pretty par for the course considering the current state with the exception of Nevada. The Nevada numbers are a bit outside of what I would expect with independents, all things considered. Nonetheless, this is a strong poll for Trump and will most likely increase his support for the Republican nomination.

West is averaging 5.5 %

Jill Stein got 1% in 2016.

Ralph Nader got 2.7% in 2000.

As I say every other month or so, the Archille's heel of the American psyche is the price of gas at election time.

It may not be everything, but in close elections it is can be everything- the various bloviating and political analysis notwithstanding and being noted.

So a lot depends on how much Iranian oil is on the market at the time, and also depends on who the Saudis want in the white house. Hi-test gas in my area is already at 5.00 and this shit show is just beginning- especially if the Iranian sanctions are ever enforced. If the Saudis cut production right before the election to put prices through the roof right while everyone is already thinking that Biden is like Carter, just from the hostage situation fatigue- then JOE IS GOING DOWN.

Axlerod makes one more attempt to tell dems to not do this. He knows he is getting nowhere because Biden takes advice from DC beltway dems who would be out of a job if Joe left. Newsome and others would bring their own staff and appointees.

Axlerod has tried. Carville has tried. Obama has tried. And some other dems. But Joe wants to do a Thelma and Louise thing. Can't fix dumphuk. So far anyway.

Also two things here in this article are a crock:

1) Axlerod is not "wondering." He is 100% convinced it is a disaster in the making.

2) Axlerod does not believe that "only Joe" can make this decision. He knows 100% that Joe is a product of his handlers and Axlerod is trying to appeal to others to do an intervention.

Former Obama strategist wonders if Biden should stay in presidential race

“Only @JoeBiden can make this decision,” Axelrod wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “If he continues to run, he will be the nominee of the Democratic Party. What he needs to decide is whether that is wise; whether it’s in HIS best interest or the country’s?”
